Jordan Davis Robles is an art gallery manager and photo based artist living and working in the Boston, Massachusetts area. Her work focuses on family dynamics, the ideal of home, and womanhood. She illustrates these ideas through the practice of digital photography, alternative processes, and the use of found photos. In her project, The Nuclear Construct, she explores the representation of the ‘nuclear family’ in family photos and what these photos leave out of the frame. Her current work focuses on women’s mental health by reflecting on the life of her grandmother and its generational effects. Jordan graduated with a BFA from East Carolina University in 2018.
